Why is it That Your Old Flame is Still the Special One?
It is common for men to still think of the women he once had and there-after broke up with. It is weird that one will think of the woman whom he broke up with after fiery squabbles and unpleasant memories. Why will that be possible?
In the last argument, in your eyes she was a fierce god of war, with fiery eyes and intelligence less than that of a human; she did not get any of the ideas you were trying to bring across. In happy times, you both enjoy laughter and sex. Apparently we have selective amnesia. We start forgetting those unhappy times when you swore to kill each other, and remembering how good sex was between you two. So you start wanting her back. You want to “bring Sexy back”.
With Information Communication Technology (ICT) advancing, it will be harder to forget her. The advent of Friendster, My Space, Facebook and other cyber social networking tools helps you to be a stalker in cyberspace. You typed her name, found her picture,added her, and start doing cyber-flirting. An old ex becomes a new virtual friend. And you seem to communicate better because you cannot see her frowning or staring. You cannot tell the tone of her voice during Instant Messaging. This gets exciting to you.You know you liked her before and you still want to talk to her.
Then you started to ask her out again. Both of you dressed your best and gave excuses for meeting up like “I needed to catch up on you. Its been some time. “The reason for wanting her back is probably lust. You can have sex with her instead of taking the trouble of finding someone new, go through weeks and weeks of dating and then asking for it. Because you already enjoyed sex with your ex before, you want to have it back again. That is why you keep thinking of her.
Whatever that you do,do not piss her off again. Another error from the old times can kill your renewed old flames. Else you will reach the sorrow fate that she will deny you access even in cyber-life.
